Terms of Service
Last updated August 31, 2026
These terms cover your use of Gifoid (the "Service"), a searchable library of gifs and custom emoji pre-sized for Slack and Discord. By using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
The Service
Gifoid lets you search, browse, and download gifs and emoji curated from public sources, already sized to fit Slack's and Discord's custom-emoji limits. It's free to use and doesn't require an account. Gifoid is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Slack Technologies or Discord Inc. — "Slack" and "Discord" are used here only to describe compatibility.
Acceptable use
Please don't use the Service to:
- Attack, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure (scraping at abusive volume, denial-of-service attempts, and similar);
- Attempt to circumvent access or rate limits;
- Use downloaded content for anything unlawful, harassing, or infringing.
Content and intellectual property
Gifoid does not create the gifs and emoji in the library — they're curated from publicly available sources, and rights to the underlying images remain with their original creators or rights holders. We make no ownership claim over them.
If you're a rights holder and want something removed, contact us at [email protected] with a link or description of the item and we'll take it down promptly.
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular file will remain available.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Gifoid won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Changes
We may update the Service or these terms from time to time. If we make a meaningful change to these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
